Charity gala event with wholehearted generosity
For the 4th time in a row, audience communication has organized the McDonald’s charity gala in 2015 in support of the McDonald’s Kinderhilfe Foundation.
Themed “Helping Wholeheartedly (Von ganzem Herzen Gutes tun)”, around 600 guests and many celebrities (Oliver Pocher, Sabine Lisicki, Henry Maske, Prof. Dr. Rita Süssmuth, Aura Dione, Nova Meierhenrich and many more) had accepted the invitation to come to the historic “Gürzenich” in the very heart of Cologne.
Charming Nazan Eckes and her colleague Jochen Schropp took the guests through the multifaceted program this year. There were many touching moments, such as the performance of a little boy on the piano. The boy was treated in Munich and lived at the Ronald McDonald House in Munich. Other highlights of the evening included the children’s choir, the shadow theatre and an auction with original prizes.
As part of the donation race, a huge painting was created that grew with every donation that came in. This year’s symbol for the donation race were many colourful hearts that, together with the donations, caused the painting to come into being and grow.
With a donation total of EUR 922.192, the charity gala proved to be a great success again this year.
We are delighted we were able to contribute to the meaningful work of the foundation with the proceeds from the evening.
