The second McDonald’s charity gala in support of the McDonald’s Kinderhilfe Foundation was again a great success.
After audience was again assigned the task of organising the McDonald’s charity gala in support of the McDonald’s Kinderhife Foundation this year, we began as early as in March with the initial preparations. At the finish, final details were worked on during the last few weeks…
With some 500 guests and numerous celebrities (Matthias Schweighöfer, Nova Meierhenrich, Enie va de Meiklokjes, Verena Kerth, Oliver Pocher and many more), the event, themed “Dreaming together”, took place on 8 November 2013, and a donation total of EUR 927.395 could be reached and handed over to the McDonald’s Kinderhilfe Foundation. Many media reported on the event afterwards, among them Süddeutsche Zeitung: “The art of charity events consists of being able to trigger the right amount of empathy among the guests. They must be moved and inspired to be induced to sign a large-sum check with a smile on their lips. At the same time, the celebration must not be too sad, too stagy, too demanding. In this respect, the gala of the McDonald’s Kinderhilfe Foundation on Friday night was a perfect example of the right dosage of emotionalisation.”
